pellematic_e_5kW_kleinOn April 28, at 8 Airport Road in Bethel, Maine, there will be a public demonstration of the ÖkoFEN Pellematic_e-max combined heat and power pellet-fired boiler system. The boiler produces up to 60KW (~205,000 BTU/hr) of thermal energy and produces up to 5KW of electrical energy from the heat of the flue gases. The Austrian-designed boiler system uses an American-made Qnergy Stirling engine-based generator

The micro CHP boiler system is the only pellet-fired micro CHP boiler system available in the world.  ÖkoFEN Pelletsheizung, of Niederkappel, Austria, is the European partner of Maine Energy Systems of Bethel, Maine.

A light lunch will precede the presentations by Maine Energy Systems and Qnergy, the Stirling engine generator manufacturer.
